This concept, started back in 1987 by Mike Walker, was to get people to move off of the Interstates and take a journey onto the smaller, less traveled highways through the small towns.

Sales do not have to be directly along the highway, just nearby.
“90 Miles on 90” is the brainchild of the Schulenburg Chamber of Commerce. The yard sale will extend from Columbus to Seguin along Highway 90 and will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 5-6, 2026.

Maps to all the sales will be available in each of the participating towns, including Columbus, Weimar, Schulenburg, Flatonia, Luling, Harwood, and Seguin.

It’s free to sign-up to be a vendor, but you do have to sign up with your local Chamber of Commerce or Visitor’s Center to be included on the map.
